About the Role As a Desktop Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential roof repair projects across Australia. You will ensure that your portfolio is managed on time, within budget and to a high standard all whilst maintaining outstanding customer service. This role utilises technology and inspectors to assist in managing repairs remotely from our head office on the Gold Coast.
Your day-to-day duties will include (but not limited to);
- Liaising with our extensive trade base, allocating and scheduling works throughout your insurance repair portfolio
- Providing timely updates to insurance companies,
homeowners and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing trade activities to ensure all work is being completed to the highest possible quality and safety standards
- Celebrating your success alongside our team!
What you will bring:
- Experience coordinating, scheduling or managing domestic and/or commercial repair projects (or similar fast-paced, multi-job environments).
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, even with conflicting priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in the insurance repair industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and Australian standards.
- A Cert IV in Building & Construction or Site Supervisor’s Certificate is desirable, but not essential.
