We are looking for a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a supportive regional team. This role offers hands-on exposure across fleet vehicles and agricultural machinery, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking variety, stability, and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing to accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults
- Service, repair, and replace diesel engines, transmissions, steering, braking, and lighting systems
- Carry out preventative maintenance on light vehicles, prime movers, and agricultural machinery (including cotton pickers)
- Conduct test drives to ensure vehicle safety and optimal performance
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards,
and parts inventory
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and workshop procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workshop environment
Salary: ₹ Equivalent of AUD 40–45 per hour (Based on experience)
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ Years of experience as a Heavy Diesel Vehicle Mechanic
- Trade qualification in Mechanical / Automotive / Heavy Vehicle Engineering
- Proven experience in diesel diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good IT skills with the ability to use diagnostic tools and systems
- Physically fit with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
- Valid driver’s license
