UHI Machinery is a fast-growing supplier of tractors and machinery across Australia. We are currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Brisbane team based in Rocklea.
This is a stable, long-term role in a hands-on workshop environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working on machinery and wants consistent work with a growing company.
What You'll Be Doing
- Service, repair and maintain tractors and machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and machine setup
- Prepare machines for delivery and customer handover
- Perform scheduled servicing and fault finding
- Attend customer sites from time to time to carry out servicing, repairs and warranty work
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop
- Assist with general workshop duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Experience with tractors, agricultural or construction machinery preferred
- Robust diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
- A current manual driver's licence (most of our vehicles are manual)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site service and repairs
- Reliable, hands-on and takes pride in their work
- Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only
What We Offer
- $100,000–$120,000 + Super (depending on experience)
