Account Manager - Sydney Based

This is your chance to join a well-established Frozen Food company with a large portfolio of well-known national brands such as Shore Mariner, Markwell, Butlers, Big Country, Blue Sea's, Ardo, Love Struck. The Ideal candidate will be a driven sales professional with proven sales experience. Reporting to the NSW State Manager, this is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will be expected to handle the day-to-day sales to key accounts as allocated.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily sales to your allocated accounts, look to grow ranging where possible over the Markwell Foods portfolio.
- Develop contacts, establish recent ones and ensure good working relationships with our current distributors are maintained.
- Leverage your growing customer relationships, to grow our business.
- Effectively plan the following weeks activities in advance, to optimise your time and maximise your results.
- Ensure all reporting and communication is completed,



incl gathering market intelligence and appropriately sharing this within the business.
- Maintain awareness of all major promotional activities and use this knowledge to keep your customers informed and to leverage growth.
- Effectively execute new product launches through distributor presentations / sampling, to achieve sales & profitability targets.
- Enter Customer orders into the order system as required.

Key Competencies / Skills

- Previous experience in the Food Service Industry, with knowledge of at least one of the product categories that Markwell Foods represent.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- An outgoing and resilient personality with a self-motivated, autonomous approach to work
- A team player
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience in sales / account management.
- The ability to increase the sales through the management of current & potential customers.
