We are currently seeking application from experiencedDrill or Diesel Fitters for Full-Time 4/5/5/4/5/5 DIDO position at Callide Project located in the Biloelaregion in Central Queensland. This role is a day & nightshift position.
Experience working on drill rigs is highly desired, however, experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters who may not have workedon drill rigs before are encouraged to apply. The salary/wage range for this role is $65.00 to $74.00 per hourwith Trade-certified Fitters who are current to mining or drill rigstowards the lower end of that range and experienced Drill Fittersand Leading Hands towards the higher end. A Local Accomodation Allowance may be applicable for Blackwaterlocals, please enquire for further information.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Perform scheduled drill servicing across our REICHDrillrigs
- Prioritising workloads or unscheduled repairs whenrequired
- Maintaining and servicing support equipment
- Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenancereporting needs.
ESSENTIAL Skills and requirements include:
- Hand Tools
- Driver Licence
- High level of diagnostic skills and field service faultfinding is highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour DESIRABLE skills include:
- Heavy machinery maintenance experience
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Excellent communication skills and safety awareness
