Tier 1 Drilling Australia is seeking a diligent and motivated Drillers assistant to join our team. In this FIFO contract role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our experienced drilling professionals in the field with potential for ongoing full-time employment. Remote location on a 2/1 roster, with flights and accommodation provided.
Key responsibilities
- Assist drillers in the set-up, operation and maintenance of drilling equipment
- Ensure a safe working environment by following all health and safety protocols
- Provide general labour support, including manual handling and transport of equipment
- Communicate effectively with the drilling team to ensure efficient and coordinated operations
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities and equipment usage
- Proactively identify and report any issues or challenges to the drilling supervisor

- Willingness to learn and develop your skillset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the drilling crew
- Commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to follow procedures
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- A valid driver's licence and ability to obtain any necessary site-specific licences or certifications
