We currently have the following positions available to join our Venue Operations Team Temporary Full Time Position - 38 hours per week - Summer seasonal contracts from October 2026 - April 2027, with training to commence in September.
Temporary Part Time Positions - various days/shifts available - Summer seasonal contracts from October 2026 - April 2027, with training to commence in September.
Casual Positions - shifts available as required across 7 days during centre operational hours Duty Manager shifts are across a variety of hours, ranging from 5am-10pm, including weekend work, and able to work across all venues, including external splash parks within the LGA.

Ongoing training and career development opportunities Here’s What You'll Be Up To… Overseeing the day-to-day operations of Aquatics and Leisure venues to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient service delivery
Acting as the first point of contact for daily operational matters, staff, contractors, and stakeholders
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining effective communication with customers and team members
Supporting staff through mentoring, coaching, and ongoing training and development
Identifying and resolving operational issues, making decisions to improve service and efficiency
Contributing ideas and feedback to enhance procedures and the overall running of the department
Ensuring compliance with Council policies, legislative requirements, and work health and safety standards
Participating in workplace change initiatives and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment

What We Are Looking For We Are After Someone Who Holds Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Pool Lifeguard Skill Set)
Lifeguard Licence
First Aid and CPR Certificate
Pool Plant Operator (Aquatic Technical Operator Skill Set)
A valid NSW Working with Children Check
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to coach and support staff
Ability to manage daily operations, resolve problems, and make effective decisions independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with staff, contractors, and stakeholders
Commitment to maintaining a secure, clean, and compliant environment in line with policies and procedures
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster a positive workplace culture The must-know bits You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied.
