Located in the heart of Rockhampton, Archer Street Child Care Centre is a 90-place, family-owned Long Day Care Centre dedicated to providing the highest standard of early childhood care. We take pride in our strong community ties, focusing on:

- Cultural Connections: Collaborating with Traditional Land Owners to offer programs highlighting Darumbal culture for our kindergarten children.

Your Role Early Childhood Educator (diploma or working towards)

- Implement engaging, play-based learning activities aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through nurturing interactions.
- Collaborate closely with our ECT and other educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
- Participate actively in program planning, observations, and documentation of children's progress.




- Foster positive relationships with families, providing regular feedback and ensuring effective communication.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities provided by the centre.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

- An ACECQA-approved qualification or evidence of progress toward completion.
- Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
- Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- A collaborative, positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
