Description
Early Childhood Coordinator
Intereach has an opportunity available for someone looking to step into an Early Childhood Coordinator role within our NDIS Early Childhood Approach program. In this role, you’ll work alongside families of children aged 0-8 years who have developmental concerns, developmental delay and/or diagnosed disability, supporting them to navigate the NDIS Early Childhood approach and achieve positive outcomes for their children. You’ll assist families through key stages of the NDIS pathway, including developmental assessments, access requests, plan implementation and connecting with community and mainstream supports.
You’ll act as a key contact for families, providing guidance, coordination and information while promoting a family-centred, strengths-based approach to early childhood intervention. The role also involves building strong relationships with community stakeholders, maintaining compliance with NDIA and Intereach requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the program.
We’re looking for someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills, sound knowledge of child development, excellent organisational skills,
and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes for children and families. Experience working with children and families using a family-centred, strengths-based approach will be highly regarded.
This is a 12-month maternity leave back-fill opportunity, based in either our Swan Hill or Mildura office. The role can be undertaken on either a full-time or part-time basis. The position is classified under the Health Professional and Support Services Award 2020 Level 1 (paid above award equivalent to SCHADS Level 4).
