Join a Federal Government team responsible for strengthening workforce integrity, personnel security, and employment suitability practices across a large and complex organisation. About the Role In this position, you will provide expert advice on employment suitability, personnel security, and workforce integrity matters. You will lead complex workstreams, support governance activities, and develop practical frameworks to ensure workforce risks are identified and effectively managed.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading the development and implementation of workforce suitability and integrity frameworks.
- Conducting complex suitability assessments and providing risk-based recommendations.
- Supporting pre-employment screening, onboarding, and ongoing workforce monitoring practices.
- Developing policies, procedures, guidance materials, and assessment methodologies.
- Preparing high-quality briefs, reports, and executive-level advice.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders across HR, security, governance, risk, legal, audit, and operational functions.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and subject matter expertise within the workforce integrity space.

About You To be successful, you will bring experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Personnel security or workforce integrity.
- Suitability assessments and employment screening.
- Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) implementation.
- Governance, risk, compliance, or integrity functions.
- Vetting, investigations, or security-related decision-making.




- Policy development and framework design.

You will also demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to interpret sensitive and complex information.
- Excellent written communication and briefing capabilities.
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills.
- The ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders on sensitive matters.

Highly Regarded

- Experience applying PSPF requirements across the employment lifecycle.
- Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting).
- Experience developing assessment frameworks, governance processes, or integrity uplift initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements

- Australian Citizenship is required.
- The successful candidate must be able to satisfy Federal Government pre-employment screening requirements.
