About the Role

Atom Resources is proud to be partnering exclusively with one of Australia’s leading Tier 2 Electrical Contractors to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial projects across Sydney.

You’ll take responsibility for managing 1 x - 3 x concurrent projects, each supported by experienced Site Managers, Foremen, and Tradesmen on the ground. Your focus will be on project delivery, financial performance, client relationships, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

This is a genuine leadership position for someone who thrives on taking ownership, managing people, and driving results across multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage 1 x - 3 x electrical projects simultaneously, valued between $1–$8 million

- Lead project delivery through planning, scheduling, and cost control

- Work closely with Site Managers and Foremen to monitor progress, safety, and quality

- Manage client relationships, attending site meetings and providing regular project updates

- Oversee procurement, budgets, forecasting, and progress claims

- Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery

- Identify and resolve technical or operational challenges promptly

- Drive a positive, accountable site culture focused on safety and performance





Skills & Experience

- NSW Electrical Licence or Electrical Engineering Qualification (preferred)

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial electrical contracting

- Strong leadership ability to manage multiple teams across concurrent sites

- Excellent client-facing, communication, and coordination skills

- Solid understanding of commercial electrical, data, and communications systems

- Solid commercial and financial management experience (budgets, forecasting, claims)

- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of prioritising competing deadlines

- Commitment to safety, quality, and team development
