​What we are looking for :

As a fundamental position within our business, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join us on a full time basis. This role will deliver commercial and residential construction projects across Melbourne, with the opportunity to travel regionally if required. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader looking for long-term career growth and the ability to grow our electrical division and bring in new opportunities.

This role may require you to act as the Technical Nominee for the business as a Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) registration with Energy Safe Victoria. As Technical Nominee, you would be responsible for overseeing all electrical work carried out by the business.

The primary responsibilities of the role are to :

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Electrical Team in consultation with the Trade Manager and Project Coordinators.

- Oversee site operations, monitor progress of projects and coordinate electrical work.

- Conduct commercial and residential service works, repairs and electrical installations.

- Liaise and coordinate with internal trades, subcontractors and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed safely,



on schedule and to a high standard.

- Lead and coordinate Electricians and apprentices (if applicable) when on site. Providing technical advice to the team

- Audit and inspect sites and completed electrical installation work ensuring all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 and Victorian Electrical Regulations

- Ensure inspections, testing and commissioning are completed to the required standards

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose effective solutions.

- Conduct site visits

- Follow company guidelines and industry standards for quality and efficiency.

- Write completion reports.

- Assist with providing quotes for minor works.

- Overseeing certificates of electrical safety (prescribed and non-prescribed)

- Ensuring all LEWs are kept up to date and compliant with new and existing regulations

- Conduct toolbox talks and technical and safety meetings with LEWs and maintain a strong safety culture

- Manage QA documentation, site reporting and inspections

- Order materials and coordinate deliveries

What you will bring :

- A trade qualification as an Electrician (A Grade Electrical Licence required)

- A current driver's licence

- Experience leading or supervising teams and the ability to provide clear direction, support and guidance

- White card

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate competing work demands
