Our Off Highway team in Hazelmere is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join us on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading power generation and marine propulsion systems, supporting critical infrastructure across WA. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while troubleshooting, commissioning, repairing and installing sophisticated engine control systems in both workshop and field environments.

About the Role

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, commissioning and installing control systems for diesel and gas engines across a range of applications, with a strong focus on Power Generation and Marine Propulsion.

This role includes supporting critical assets and responding to breakdowns in essential services.

Key responsibilities include

- Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support across all aspects of Electrical Field Service.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic engine management systems and associated electrical components.
- Commission, test and install power generation and control systems.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Electrical Supervisor to successfully deliver new power generation projects.
- Coordinate electrical and electronic installations, including the supervision of subcontractors where required.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections, testing and commissioning activities to ensure equipment performs to the highest standard.
- Utilise technical manuals, service publications and diagnostic software to support effective fault finding and repairs.
- Provide technical support across the Service, Projects and Sales teams.




- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to customer expectations.

About You

- WA Electrical Worker's Licence trade qualification.
- Sound knowledge of electrical diagnostic fault finding and modifications.
- Experience across Power Generation and Marine Propulsion applications
- Demonstrated ability with regard to planning, organising and time management skills.
- Demonstrate prior experience working with and commissioning diesel engine control systems.
- Prepared to undertake site-based travel as reasonably required.
- Related and Demonstrated industry experience.
