Swift Electroplaters, located in Silverwater, is seeking an experienced electroplater to join our small, skilled team. We specialise in high-quality decorative and industrial electroplating and are looking for someone who takes pride in precision work, consistent finish quality, and safe workshop practices.

· Permanent full-time opportunity.

· 38 hours per week.

· Early finish every Friday.

About the role:

This role is suited to an electroplater with hands-on experience in surface preparation, plating processes, quality checking, and general production work. You will work across a range of customer jobs where attention to detail, reliability, and a good understanding of plating standards are essential. The full-time hourly rate will depend on your skills, experience, and ability.

Key duties include

· Preparing parts for plating, including cleaning, handling, masking, and rack loading.

· Carrying out decorative and industrial electroplating tasks to job requirements.

· Monitoring plating quality and identifying issues such as poor adhesion, uneven finish, pitting,



or contamination.

· Loading and unloading racks of product safely and efficiently.

· Packing customer orders carefully to protect finished work.

· Assisting with general factory duties and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

To be successful, you will need:

· Previous experience in electroplating or metal finishing.

· A practical understanding of surface preparation, plating processes, and finish inspection.

· The ability to follow instructions, work safely around chemicals and equipment, and use PPE correctly.

· Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.

· Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a small team.

Hours

· 38 hours per week

· Monday to Thursday is 6.50AM to 3.20PM.

· Friday is 6.20AM to 12.20PM.

· 20 minute paid morning tea break.

· 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

· The ability to get to work, on time, is very significant.
