The Role: Employment Adviser (EA) - As an EA at TURSA, you'll play a vital role in supporting participants on their journey back to work. Some of our participants face vulnerabilities, such as drug and alcohol dependency, unstable housing, and mental health conditions, so your empathetic and solutions focused approach will be crucial.

This role will be based at our Lismore site and is a permanent full time position. Though this role is advertised for full-time, if you are the right candidate, we may consider part-time positions.

Your responsibilities include:

- Providing exceptional customer service whilst building strong rapport with participants
- Addressing, managing, and overcoming participant barriers to employment
- Linking in with other community services to address barriers
- Ensuring participant adherence to compliance requirements and guidelines




- Sourcing suitable jobs for participants and / or motivating them to actively secure their own employment
- Providing Post Placement Support after commencement of employment

What we need from you:

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong IT literacy and a capacity to learn new systems
- Confidence to perform in a high volume, results driven industry

- Effective conflict management skills

Although previous experience in Employment Services is an advantage, it is not essential.
