This role will see you become an integral part of Smelter Projects team. This role is residentially based in Mount Isa, working a 5/2 4/3 roster.

- Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years mining and/or construction industry experience




- Project Management experience will be high regarded
- Working within a team environment, however demonstrate the ability to work autonomously
- A strong safety culture and work ethic are fundamental to your success in the role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills Working across two plants this role would include:
- Capital Projects delivery including scoping, design, project management and installation
- Budget and schedule control
- Performing engineering calculations, design reviews, and conducting risk assessments
- Managing external suppliers, and ensuring compliance with site and statutory standards
- Building relationships with end users to provide practical and pragmatic engineering solutions
