InnoTherm is an engineered solutions specialist committed to the design, development, manufacture and delivery of industrial heat transfer solutions for both domestic and export markets.

This is a well-established Australian business that designs and manufactures custom cooling solutions for industries including mining, transport, rail, power generation and heavy industrial. Every project is different, with engineering and manufacturing working hand in hand to deliver practical solutions for customers.

Working closely with the Business Owners, you'll join a business where your ideas are valued, decisions are made quickly and you'll have the opportunity to influence both the engineering team and the future direction of the business.

ROLE

Reporting directly to the Business Owners you will take ownership of the Engineering and Quality functions, leading a team responsible for engineering design, quality systems and continuous improvement across the business.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys balancing people leadership with technical involvement. You'll work closely with production, engineering, suppliers and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, designs are practical and the business continues to improve its engineering and quality performance.

Your responsibilities will include

- Lead and develop the Engineering and Quality teams.
- Manage product design, product development and engineering change activities.
- Oversee manufacturing,



engineering and quality documentation.
- Ensure BOM accuracy and drawing control.
- Manage warranty investigations and drive design improvements.
- Lead quality assurance activities including non-conforming product, corrective actions and preventative actions.
- Maintain and improve the ISO9001 Quality Management System.
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report on engineering and quality performance to the Company Directors.

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 8+ years' experience in a manufacturing and design environment.
- Previous experience leading engineering teams within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
- High proficiency using SolidWorks.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across engineering, production, suppliers and customers.
- A practical approach to engineering with robust attention to detail.
- Experience within heat transfer or thermal management will be highly regarded but is not essential.
