About the role Enrolled Nurse — Cardiothoracic, Vascular and Ophthalmology Surgery at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Spring Hill. Permanent part‑time position.

Location: St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, opposite Roma St Parklands, Spring Hill, Brisbane.

Remuneration: $36.57–$40.93 per hour (plus 12% super, salary packaging, not for profit).

Responsibilities - Provide safe and holistic care to individuals and their families.

- Document and update care plans in line with emerging assessments.
- Administer medication and manage wound care.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and recreational activities.
- Help residents participate in community events by providing social support.
- Aide other care staff and health professionals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.

Qualifications - Minimum 12 months experience in an acute surgical ward, preferably cardiac, cardiothoracic or vascular.

- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent.
- AHPRA registration.




- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
- Desire for ongoing professional development.
- Availability to work across a fortnightly rotating roster.
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations and undergo a functional assessment.
