About the vacancy

The Opportunity:

To support further growth, we are looking for Operators to join the maintenance team at our brand new facility at Marsden Park. You will be working closely with Maintenance Technicians and Operational teams working on computer systems to ensure the automated facilities and systems have maximum performance and availability in our 24/7 temperature-controlled plant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor NewCold systems of automated plant equipment and follow standard operating procedures and OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance

- Ensure accurate and effective storage and distribution of goods within an automated warehouse
- Investigate and provide information to technical team where required
- Identify issues and implement resolutions
- Undertake and manage height operations and rescue
- Assisting trades with maintenance activities on site
- Proactively identifying any risks and taking corrective measures




- Complete daily checks of the plant and take appropriate action to ensure the system operates to maximum efficiency
- Ensure accurate and prompt communication with internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate will:

- Have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Show high-level computer proficiency, display confidence using software and reporting tools and systems with the capacity to work across multiple applications and utilise automation platforms
- Have experience troubleshooting in a mechanical, trades or automation environment
- Have the ability to follow work instructions and communicate effectively
- Be comfortable working at heights
- Be comfortable working in a cold storage environment
- Be comfortable working in small spaces as part of the role
- Possess the physical fitness, strength and flexibility to work in a high volume, automated facility
- Be able to work effectively within a team as well as independently when required

Various shifts available:

- 4 on 4 off continuous

As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical and reference checks. Training will be provided.
