Environmental Engineer

Pyrmont, Sydney | Full Time | Immediate Start

A well-regarded environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to add an Environmental Engineer to its Sydney team, with the ability to start straight away. The business works across a broad range of environmental and site-based projects for property developers, builders, and other consultants, and currently has a healthy, ongoing volume of work on the books. Several positions are open right now, spanning mid-level through to senior, so applicants at different stages of their career are encouraged to apply.

The Role

You'll split your time between the field and the office, taking projects from the early assessment stage right through to final reporting and remediation advice. Expect to be involved in several jobs at once, at different points in their lifecycle, working alongside clients, builders, and your colleagues.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

- Carrying out environmental site assessments and investigations
- Assessing, sampling, and monitoring contamination
- Writing up environmental reports and remediation recommendations
- Communicating with clients,



contractors, regulators, and the wider team
- Assisting with due diligence, dewatering, and remediation works
- Balancing a mixed caseload of projects at various stages

What We're Looking For

- A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar
- Background in environmental consulting or site/ground engineering, at mid to senior level
- Solid grasp of site assessment, contamination management, and report writing
- A explicit, confident communicator who's equally comfortable with clients and site crews
- Comfortable moving between site work and desk-based work
- Living in Sydney, or able to start immediately
