We provide specialist services to several Tier 1 Mining and Oil & Gas companies, Defence, Federal and State government agencies, and several Tier 1 Mining and Oil & Gas companies.

About the role We have a busy project line up right across our national Workplace Health and Safety team and we’re growing the team to keep up! In this role, you’ll expand on your knowledge and experience in undertaking hazmat and occupational hygiene site inspections, engaging with clients and contractors, preparing technical reports and managing projects end-to-end. We lead with science and ensure our solutions are tailored to fit each project.

The sectors we work in are diverse and span mining, oil & gas, public infrastructure, future energy, defence and beyond!

You will be responsible for:



Hazardous materials/asbestos assessments and inspections

Occupational hygiene monitoring and asbestos fibre counting

Managing field programs for a range of Built Environment investigations

Observing, guiding, and recording site remediation activities

Data management, interpretation, and quality assurance/quality control

Assisting with writing proposals, project correspondence and technical reports About you To thrive in the role, you'll need: Qualifications in related science disciplines and/or occupational hygiene

Demonstrable experience in the Hazardous Materials and/or Occupational Hygiene field

Strong project management skills with a focus on quality and delivery

Great communication, client relationship and teamwork skills The ability to travel to regional and country sites as required A commitment to secure, environmentally responsible project delivery

Hold a full Australian driver’s license

Be an Australian permanent resident or citizen (required for the Department of Defence) Being a Licensed Asbestos Assessor, or eligible to apply within the near future, will be a distinct advantage.
