St Agnes’ Catholic Parish is a not-for-profit organisation that has been serving the Port Macquarie community since 1878, offering compassionate support to people of all ages and life stages.

With over 700 staff across a range of ministries, including aged care, community and family, education and training, and ministry and pastoral, the Parish works to support the dignity, wellbeing and needs of the community.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Key responsibilities may include

Assisting with personal care activities

Supporting residents with mobility and daily living tasks

Building positive relationships with residents and their families

Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting changes in resident wellbeing

Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

What We're Looking For

Hold relevant qualifications in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field

Have a genuine passion for caring for others

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Are committed to providing person-centred care

Can work effectively both independently and within a team
