- Office location upon negotiation across NSW, hybrid working supported
- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $178,315 to $197,753 + super
This is an exciting prospect to work on a high-profile priority project, within a multi-disciplinary team.
The roles will support the development of the Nature Strategy and its implementation, a NSW Government commitment and DCCEEW strategic priority. The roles cover a range of functions including policy development, implementation planning, program management, MERI, project coordination, governance, and communications and engagement.
To be successful in this role you:
- will take initiative and actively contribute your skills and expertise to a multi-disciplinary team
- are a team player, working across various teams and business areas, and create effective working relationships
- can adapt and flex to accommodate moving priorities and issues, and
- enjoy working on complex problems and can prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
About you:
You will have
- Knowledge and experience of policy development, ideally in design and/or operational translation of policy.
- Extensive experience in planning, implementing and managing complex projects to achieve priority objectives.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders to influence, develop, implement and evaluate strategic planning, technical knowledge and delivery design.
- Knowledge of the operational and strategic requirements for the successful delivery of environmental and conservation programs in the context of current policy and legislative frameworks.
- Experience translating and supporting the implementation of strategic plans and policy to implementation of nature and conservation program delivery.
- Proven people leadership, and management of high performing teams to deliver under pressure
Essential Requirements:
- Environmental science, policy and/or equivalent experience.
