We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Equipment Sales Representative to join our team at our Dandenong branch.

This is an exciting entry-level sales opportunity where you'll build relationships with an existing customer portfolio, uncover new opportunities and generate qualified leads to support our Equipment Sales teams. You'll receive ongoing product, sales and Caterpillar training, with genuine opportunities to grow your career within William Adams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to our Business Manager Sales - Retail, you'll manage a portfolio of approximately 3,000 customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Making a high volume of proactive outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to identify equipment needs, uncover sales opportunities and generate qualified leads

Building and maintaining strong relationships through proactive customer engagement

Identifying opportunities and generating qualified sales leads for our Sales Representatives

Supporting sales across our Compact Construction Equipment range, including mini excavators, skid steer loaders and compact track loaders

Maintaining accurate customer information, activity and opportunities within our CRM

Collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

Promptly following up customer enquiries and sales opportunities

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you'll bring the following skills and attributes:

A passion for sales,



customer service and building relationships A proactive attitude and confidence making outbound calls to engage customers and uncover opportunities

Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills The ability to work independently while contributing to a cooperative team A genuine interest in machinery, construction equipment, automotive, motorbikes or similar industries

Previous experience in retail sales, automotive sales or customer service will be highly regarded

Most importantly, you're eager to learn. We'll provide the training, mentoring and support to help you develop into a successful Equipment Sales Representative.
