Role
Reporting into the Events team, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering a wide variety of events throughout the school calendar. From annual graduation ceremonies and presentation evenings to staff functions, donor events and end-of-year celebrations, you'll ensure every event runs seamlessly from planning through to execution.
This role would suit an organised and proactive Events Assistant or Events Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on bringing memorable events to life.
This is a Part-time role based in the office 3 days a week (Weds, Thur, Fri)
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of student,
staff and community events
- Manage event logistics including venues, suppliers, catering, invitations and run sheets
- Assist with annual graduation ceremonies, donor dinners and end-of-year celebrations
- Manage registrations and event planning through Humanitix
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful event delivery
- Provide administrative support including event documentation, schedules and post-event follow-up
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in events coordination or event administration
- Available to commence immediately or within 1 week's notice
- Must be able to commit to Wednesday, Thursday Friday scheudle
- Previous experience within the education sector is highly desirable
- Experience using Humanitix or similar event registration platforms is essential
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Available to commence immediately and commit through to the end of September 2026
- Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check if successful ($112 at the candidate's expense)
