About the role
We are seeking an experienced Everyday Panel Beater to join our team at our Osborne Park location in Perth, Western Australia. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a varied range of vehicle panel work and repairs. You will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, performing panel beating work, and delivering quality results that meet our high standards.
This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that vehicles are restored efficiently and to specification. You will work in office at our Osborne Park facility, contributing to a dynamic and professional workshop environment.
Key responsibilities
1. Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine the scope of panel beating work required
2. Remove, reshape, and repair vehicle panels using panel beating techniques and equipment
3. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised panel beating equipment to restore damaged areas
4. Prepare panels for painting by ensuring surfaces are smooth and properly finished
5. Work collaboratively with other team members, including spray painters to ensure seamless vehicle repairs
6. Maintain accurate records of work completed and time spent on each vehicle
7. Adhere to all health and safety procedures and workplace regulations

Maintain a clean and organised work area
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience working as a panel beater in an automotive workshop environment
2. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and panel beating equipment
3. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle panel structures and repair methods
4. Ability to assess damage accurately and determine appropriate repair approaches
5. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
6. Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
7. Positive communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
8. Current driver's licence (preferred)
9. Trade qualifications or formal training in panel beating (advantageous)
10. Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and repair procedures
