Play a key role in shaping our performance across our InfraBuild Recycling business. Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Laverton site, the Excavator/Loader/Material Handler operators will perform a range of duties within the metal recycling yard.
This is a permanent day shift role offering regular overtime, plus site allowance, paid leave and a wellbeing allowance every year! There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression/multi skilling.
What you will be doing: Operating a Material Handler, Excavator and or Loader
Operating a forklift if/when ticketed
Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers
Loading scrap metal onto conveyor for processing through the shredder
Performing manual handling tasks
Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
Adhering to safety procedures at all times Pay rate - $44.97 per hour, plus super, plus 1% site allowance, plus $300 wellbeing allowance per year, plus regular overtime!

Forklift ticket, desirable
Mobile shearing on an excavator advantageous
Experience in scrap recycling, civil construction, waste or manufacturing is highly advantageous
Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard workplace
