About the Role
We are flexible with the engagement type and welcome applications from candidates seeking full-time, casual, or ABN contract work.
This is a long-term opportunity working across a variety of civil construction projects. You'll primarily operate excavators on earthworks, drainage, retaining walls, and subdivision projects while working alongside an experienced and professional team.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently
- Carry out detailed excavation and final trim work
- Load trucks safely and efficiently
- Construct sleeper and boulder retaining walls
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Assist with general civil construction duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Excavator ticket or Statement of Attainment
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating excavators in civil construction
- White Card
- Final trim experience
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors
