Experienced Excavator Operators wanted for an immediate start on a mine rehabilitation project near Mt Garnett, Far North Queensland.
We are seeking skilled operators to join a well-established contractor working on the capping of tailings storage facilities at a former mine site. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential for long-term employment beyond the initial project.

- $58.43 per hour (flat rate)
- 10 days on, 4 days off roster
- Immediate start available from Monday, 3 August
- Project running through to November/December, with ongoing opportunities for high performers
- Accommodation provided for non-local candidates
- Up to 4 hours travel each way paid

About the Role
Operating 30T, 50T and 75T excavators,
your duties will include:
- Capping tailings storage facilities on a former mine site
- Loading articulated dump trucks (Moxies) in a production circuit
- Final trim and batter work
- Working with GPS-equipped machinery where applicable
- Maintaining safe and efficient production standards
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience operating 30T+ excavators in a civil or mining setting
