Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic, experienced Admin & Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team.
This is an initial part-time position, offering 2-3-days per week (negotiable), with the opportunity for the right candidate to potentially progress into a full-time role in the future.
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Admin / Accounts Assistant to join our busy team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week, negotiable) with the potential to become full-time in the future, for the right candidate.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This varied and busy position will involve a combination of administration and accounts duties, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. The successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring our office continues to run efficiently and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- General office administration and support.
- Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Bookkeeping and data entry using Xero.
- Following up outstanding customer accounts and overdue payments.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Booking jobs into our scheduling system
- Liaising with our field technicians on various matters
- Assisting with other administrative duties as required.
To be considered for this position, it is essential that you possess ALL of the below skills and experience.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven administration experience in a busy office environment.
- Sound knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency using Xero accounting software.
- Previous customer service experience with a professional and friendly approach.
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience.
- Demonstrated experience following up outstanding and overdue accounts in a professional, confident, and respectful manner.
- A confident, explicit, and polite telephone manner.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Honest and reliable work ethic
- Flexible and adaptable attitude
- Sound computer skills and attention to detail
