Structaframe is seeking an experienced Frame & Truss Detailer to join our manufacturing team at Brocklehurst, just north of Dubbo.
This role is suited to someone with proven frame and truss industry experience who can complete jobs competently, accurately and independently.
Experience using Multinail detailing software is strongly preferred. However, experienced detailers using Pryda, MiTek or another recognised frame and truss detailing system are also encouraged to apply. Training in Multinail can be provided to the right experienced applicant.
The successful applicant will be responsible for detailing timber wall frames and roof trusses from architectural and engineering plans through to accurate, production-ready documentation.
Key responsibilities include
- Detailing prefabricated timber wall frames and roof trusses
- Interpreting architectural, engineering and construction plans
- Preparing accurate layouts and production documentation
- Checking designs for compliance, buildability and manufacturing efficiency
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies before jobs enter production
- Liaising with builders, engineers, estimators, customers and production staff
- Managing multiple jobs and meeting agreed production timeframes
This is not an entry-level drafting position. We are looking for someone with genuine frame and truss knowledge who can work confidently and independently.
