About the company A Family run office furniture manufacturer located in Loganholme 4129, manufacturing a wide variety of melamine and laminated office furniture.

About the role In this role, you will play a key role on overseeing both production and on-site operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality custom cabinetry projects from start to finish. The role would intially be a 6 month contract role to begin wiith a look to it becoming a permant role.

Key Responsibilities for the role

- Responsible for the quoting, estimating and ordering of matertials for custom jobs
- Providing the details of jobs won to the wider team

Skills & experience

- Qualified Cabinet Maker
- Experience in the field of melamine joinery, whether it be from Office furniture, shopfitting, or kitchen manufacture
- Robust attention to detail and ability to interpret precise measurement and specifications
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Must have an eye for detail and be able to produce high quality work




- Ability and willingness to supervise and mentor apprentices
- Saw bench experience
- Edgebander experience
- CNC experience
- Sound knowledge of hardware and ordering would be an advantage
- Experience with SCM Morbidelli 200 nesting machine advantageous

Benefits

All in shed work, no travel required to site. Regular hours Monday to Thursday 7am -3.30pm and Friday 7am -1pm. Possibility of part time hours or full time hours for the right candiate
