Workshop / Factory Manager

Full Time | Perth

We're looking for an experienced cabinet maker with strong leadership skills to lead our workshop and help drive the next stage of our business.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the factory, leading the team, coordinating production and ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.

We're not looking for someone to simply keep the factory running. We're looking for someone who enjoys building a solid team, improving systems and processes, and taking ownership of the workshop. You'll have the opportunity to make the role your own and play an important part in the future of the business.

The Role

Working closely with the Directors, you'll oversee daily production, manage workflow and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Your focus will be on leading people, maintaining quality and creating an organised, productive workshop. As a leader, you'll also be willing to roll up your sleeves and support the team whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, support and develop the factory team.

- Plan and coordinate daily production and workflow.

- Allocate work and monitor production priorities.

- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

- Maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.

- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow and workshop systems.





- Mentor apprentices and support the development of tradespeople.

- Work closely with the office, drafting and installation teams.

- Provide hands-on support with cabinet making, assembly and installation when required.

About You

You'll be someone who leads by example, communicates well and earns the respect of your team.

Ideally, you'll have:

- A trade qualification in Cabinet Making.

- Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Workshop/Factory Manager.

- Strong organisational and planning skills.

- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.

- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.

- High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

- A positive attitude with a willingness to get involved wherever needed.
