Almara is a growing Melbourne-based cabinetry business, and we’re looking for a capable and energetic storeman to join our factory team.
This is a busy, hands-on role. You’ll be responsible for keeping stock organised, making sure materials are where they need to be, and helping our production and installation teams keep moving.
We’re looking for someone who likes working hard, takes ownership and gets satisfaction from being useful. There will always be something to do, so this role will suit a genuine go-getter rather than someone who needs to be constantly directed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Receiving, checking and putting away stock and deliveries
- Keeping stock organised and replenished across the factory
- Operating a forklift to move materials safely and efficiently
- Preparing materials, hardware and fittings for production and installation teams
- Helping installers load their vehicles and making sure they have what they need
- Following up suppliers and internal teams to keep things moving
- Identifying stock shortages or issues before they cause delays
- Keeping the stores and factory areas clean, orderly and easy to work in
- Pitching in wherever needed to help the team get jobs done
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who enjoys being busy and working hard

- Practical, positive and willing to help others
- Comfortable working in a rapid-moving factory environment
- Forklift licence and experience operating a forklift
- Previous stores, warehouse or manufacturing experience would be highly regarded
