About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting current parents and giving little ones the best possible start in life? Join Holdsworth as our Family Services Support Worker and help run Bub Hub — a warm, welcoming program for families with babies from newborn to 12 months. The Family Services Support Worker – Bub Hub plays a vital role in delivering inclusive, community-based programs that foster family wellbeing, early childhood development and social inclusion. What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

- Coordinate and run weekly Bub Hub and playgroup sessions in collaboration with the Family Services team
- Facilitate connection between new parents and their babies, strengthening the parent-baby bond
- Develop and deliver high-quality programs that respond to families’ needs
- Provide one-to-one advice, information and referrals to parents on parenting issues
- Present information sessions to parents and carers on relevant parenting and early childhood topics
- Promote inclusive, person-centred opportunities for families to build social connection

- Respond to concerns about a child’s or parent’s wellbeing, escalating as needed
- Maintain accurate attendance records and handle equipment care and session set-up/pack-down
- Build referral networks and represent Holdsworth positively in the community
- Use Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) for communication and reporting as required

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- 2–3+ years’ experience in a community services, early childhood or family support role — ideally within a not-for-profit or council-funded setting
- Demonstrated experience working with babies (newborn–12 months) and their families
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is essential
- Tertiary qualification in Midwifery, Child Care, Child Health, Community Services, Early Childhood, Social Work or a related field (desirable)
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Childcare First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of parenting philosophies such as Circle of Security, Louise Porter or Janet Lansbury (desirable)
- A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development

Why Join Us
