Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of industrial equipment and material handling solutions, supporting customers across manufacturing, food and beverage, packaging, logistics, automotive and other industrial sectors.

The Role

This newly created position sits within the regional engineering and technical services function, coordinating field service delivery across Australia, New Zealand and selected markets in India and Southeast Asia.

You’ll be the central link between customers, Field Service Technicians, Technical Support Specialists and internal teams — the reason the right technician, with the right parts, arrives at the right site at the right time.

You’ll join a collaborative team of seven comprising four Field Service Technicians and three Technical Support Specialists. No regular interstate or international travel is required.

What does your next role look like?

Service scheduling and coordination ⚫︎ Schedule and dispatch technicians according to availability,



technical capability and location ⚫︎ Prioritise urgent requests and adjust plans as circumstances change ⚫︎ Help technicians arrive prepared with the right job information and requirements

Customer and stakeholder communication ⚫︎ Act as a key point of contact throughout the service process ⚫︎ Provide clear updates and follow up on outstanding matters ⚫︎ Liaise with engineering, technical support, sales and other APAC teams

Work orders and service administration ⚫︎ Create, update and close work orders in the service management system ⚫︎ Review technician timesheets and maintain accurate service records ⚫︎ Prepare regular service activity and performance reports

Parts, tools and field logistics ⚫︎ Coordinate the tools, spare parts and other resources required for repairs and maintenance ⚫︎ Track service equipment and maintain accurate asset records

Compliance and team support ⚫︎ Maintain technician credentials, permits, insurance and site-access documentation ⚫︎ Support team meetings and regional communication ⚫︎ Identify practical opportunities to improve service processes A little about you

At the core of this role is three or more years’ experience coordinating field service, technical service or maintenance operations.

You’ll be comfortable coordinating multiple technicians, service jobs and regional stakeholders without losing track of the details, and equally confident communicating a difficult update as a positive one.

A working knowledge of service management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics will be valuable, as will exposure to industrial equipment, manufacturing, automation or another technical service environment. A trade qualification or engineering degree is not essential.

What matters most is the judgement to prioritise,



the confidence to keep people informed and the calm to stay focused when plans change.

Location

Epping, Melbourne Onsite parking is available. Public transport may be possible, but this role will best suit someone who can commute by car.

Working Hour

Full-time – Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm

Salary range

$85,000–$90,000 base salary plus superannuation

Working flexibility An initially office-based role to support onboarding, technical learning and relationship-building, with flexible working arrangements available once established in the position and in line with company policy.
