We’re expanding our Field Service Team in Brisbane (Qld) and are looking for a proactive mechanically skilled person to come on board. If you’re a qualified mechanic or fitter, have a recognised trade, or bring solid hands‑on mechanical expertise, we want to hear from you! An Air compressor service background would be well regarded, but not essential for the right applicant.

What be you’ll doing?

· Servicing and maintaining Air Compressors and associated products

· Diagnoses and repair of equipment

· Performing maintenance and upgrades

· Working independently and solving problems in the field

· Providing a high level of Customer Service to our valued clients

About the role

Kaishan Compressors requires the services of a competent mechanical tradesperson. Based in Wacol, Brisbane QLD and servicing customers across Queensland, this person may be currently employed as Air Compressor technician a light car or truck heavy equipment mechanic, a mechanical fitter, or similar trade qualified person who has a knowledge of rotating equipment and is skilled with hand tools. You would be a confident self-starter with the right attitude who is keen to learn, focused on delivering productive, quality service to our customer base whilst working autonomously with minimal direct supervision.

Driving late model field service vans, with regular training, and supported by a team of experienced people, you will soon develop the skills to become a recognized Compressed Air Technician.

A current car licence (C class) is required to operate company service vehicles.

Responsibilities

Providing best in class service and customer support during field visits or workshop-based maintenance activities you would manage all aspects of in office service, repair and preventative maintenance, to ensure that customer equipment operates from "one service to the next" without fault. Your mechanical ability and experience will allow you to diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications To be successful in the position, you would need to:

- Have good written and verbal communication skills.

- Be trade qualified in a mechanical-based field or industry.

- Must have the right to work in Australia.

A restricted electrical qualification would be well received but not a requirement; the completion/achievement of this qualification would be a priority for the successful candidate.
