As an Excavator or Dozer Operator working FIFO across the Goldfields region, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of production and civil earthmoving equipment. You will carry out bulk earthworks, tip head operations, ripping, double bench digging, pulling batters, loading trucks and final trim while maintaining high productivity and safety standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Driver's Licence (HR is highly desirable)
- Dozer and/or Excavator Ticket
- National Police Clearance (Recent of 3 months or willing to obtain new one)
- Construction Card
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol
- Previous experience in the mining industry
- 3+ years' experience with operating relevant machinery (200T & above excavator and D10 Dozers)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete ripping operation to prepare material for excavation and production works
- Carry out bulk pushing of materials
- Load haul trucks efficiently and accordingly
- Complete pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks, reporting any defects
- Operate mobile machinery safely around other mobile plant and personnel on site
- Communicate with supervisors and other operators to ensure secure production
- Follow site safety policies, procedures and environmental requirements at all times
