IronMerge People is currently seeking Casual FIFO Minesite Cleaners and Industrial Cleaners for ongoing opportunities with one of our key clients to work across a range of established mining operations throughout Western Australia.
These positions are designed to provide leave cover, vacant role coverage and shutdown support across multiple mine sites. Successful applicants must be flexible to work across various locations and rosters as operational requirements change.
Please note: These are dedicated Minesite Cleaning positions only. Employees will not be deployed into Kitchen, Utility or Hospitality departments.

- Casual employment
- Base rate $37.20 per hour
- Night Shift Loading where applicable
- Public Holidays paid at applicable penalty rates
- 2:1 FIFO rosters
- FIFO from Perth Airport only
- Immediate starts once onboarding is completed
- Work available across multiple WA mine sites
Essential Requirements To be considered you must meet the following requirements:
- Current Open C Class (or higher) Manual West Australian Driver's Licence with no restrictions - Automatic, P or L Plates, Interstate or International licenses will not be considered
- Previous FIFO experience is essential in a Minesite Cleaning, Industrial Cleaning, Grounds, TA or other site-based mining role
- Applicants new to FIFO will not be considered
- Confident driving manual vehicles and able to successfully complete a minesite Manual Vehicle VOC
- Current National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old) with no disclosable outcomes – this includes driving offences
- Able to commence onboarding immediately with no planned leave in the next 6 months
- Currently residing in Perth, Western Australia and able to complete all onboarding including medicals in the Perth metro area
- Hold full Australian work rights with no restriction on hours for a minimum of 7-8 months
- Nightshift will be required in these roles, so you must be adaptable to work day and night shift rosters
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening, including ongoing site testing
- Comfortable completing online inductions and using technology onsite
As a Casual FIFO Minesite Cleaner, your duties may include:
- Cleaning crib rooms, site offices, toilet blocks and change rooms
- Driving vehicles within the village and mine site
- Cleaning accommodation rooms and village common areas
- Cleaning wet mess facilities and amenities
- Maintaining high hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Using commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Restocking consumables and maintaining cleaning supplies
- Following site procedures and safety requirements at all times
