About this opportunity
We are rapidly growing in this industry, as part of this growth our North Western Australia Team has an exciting prospect for an experienced Shotfirer, with Statutory Supervisor Qualification. This position is based in Kununurra FIFO accepted.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent blasting results by utilizing efficient blast design practices and accurate mark outs.
- Achieve blasting on time by successfully coordinating with customers and respective Impact employees for the delivery of drilling services, technical services and supply explosives.
- Provide a seamless service, ensure all pre and post documentation completed and ensure all explosive products are accounted for
- Develop, maintain and enhance relationships with allocated customers.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements
The successful applicant will have:
- A current Shotfirers ticket
- Statutory Supervisor Qualification/Training completed
- Competent in explosive handling practices
- Competent in supervision of the blast crew
- Current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers License
- Strong customer focus
- Preferred experience in laser profiling, bore tracking and blast monitoring
- Unrestricted licence and civil blasting experience highly desirable
