The Role:
As the Business Manager (Finance), you will oversee the management and delivery of the Group’s finance and accounting functions across day‑to‑day operations while supervising and leading the Accounts Payable function. This role also carries significant communication responsibility, requiring you to apply strong persuasive skills across the national operational network to implement standards and set clear Finance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable function within the divisional finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and adherence to audit and legislative requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis across the national network and identify potential savings to streamline best practice.
- Manage the day-to-day operations with a focus on system stability, improving workflow efficiency and performance enhancement.
- Finance Leadership to coordinate and implement necessary standards, controls, policy & procedures across the National network.
- Interact with Operational centres to support financial analysis, cost efficiencies, reporting, and enhance operational business.
- Manage corporate property investments and financial risks.
Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role,
ideally as a Senior Accountant in a fast-growth volume business.
- Demonstrated history of managing a team and successfully steering implementation of finance standards.
- Experience in Accounts Payable automated workflow systems. (Medius or similar)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles with professional CPA / CA qualifications.
- Hands-on approach with relentless support to all your team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- A growth mindset, ready to adapt, exceptional problem-solving skills and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
