As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Fire Pump Service Technician to join our specialist team. This role is primarily focused on the inspection, testing and annual servicing of fire pump systems, ensuring our clients remain compliant and their critical fire protection systems are ready to perform when needed.

The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out annual servicing of diesel and electric fire pumpsets.
- Performing routine inspection, testing and maintenance in accordance with AS 1851.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on fire pumpsets and associated equipment.
- Servicing diesel engines and electric motors.
- Completing electronic service reports using our field management software.
- Liaising professionally with clients while on site.
- Working safely and maintaining a high standard of workmanship at all times.
About You To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience servicing fire pumpsets, mechanical equipment or similar plant.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your daily workload.
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
The following would be highly regarded:
- Experience in the fire protection industry.
- Knowledge of AS 1851 inspection and testing requirements.
- A trade qualification such as Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Sprinkler Fitter or similar.
- Experience working with diesel engines, pumps or rotating equipment.
If you have the right attitude and mechanical skills, we are willing to provide industry-specific training.
