Lounge is seeking an energetic and hands-on Floor Supervisor to join our team.Located on the stunning Rose Bay waterfront, our venue is unlike any other in Sydney, offering spectacular harbour views, a busy restaurant and event space, and the unique experience of seaplanes arriving and departing throughout the day. Summer is our busiest season, and we're looking for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As Floor Supervisor, you will lead by example and work closely with the management team to ensure exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervising and leading front-of-house service teams
- Managing busy restaurant and event service periods
- Assisting across all areas of the venue, including:
- Floor service
- Bar operations
- Barista duties
- Host and guest reception
- Training and mentoring team members
- Monitoring service standards and customer satisfaction
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures




- Coordinating reservations and guest flow using OpenTable

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Supervisor position within hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in floor service, bar service, and coffee making
- Confident hosting and engaging with guests
- Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Robust work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Comfortable managing long shifts and high-volume service periods
