Higgins Coatings is Australia's premier commercial painting contractor, providing complete painting maintenance service and solutions to a broad range of industries. Due to growth we are seeking a Foreperson Painter to join our Sunshine Coast team, working out of the Noosa end of the of the region.
This is a full time permanent role. You will be on the tools and required to:
· Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a explicit understanding of each project and deliver projects on-time, within scope, within budget, safely
· Coordinate employees and equipment/materials
· Supervise employees and apprentices
· Ensure work is completed safely – eg. conduct toolbox talks, update risk assessment and ensure correct PPE is worn
What you need to succeed
· Must be a trade qualified painter,
ideally with commercial painting experience
· EWP licenses are desirable
· Experience in managing small painting teams
· A strong focus on safety, including using online safety systems
