From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.Ongoing Event Team Members are key in supporting these various events throughout the year. Along with their regular activity of connecting with the community and practical assistance with set up and pack down of the event equipment and resources, ongoing Event Team Members are important supports for other volunteers who join events on a once off/short term basis.Key responsibilities:With the support and guidance of the Team Leader, assist with the preparation of the event, ensuring signage and other equipment is set out according to plan.Ensure everything is set up in ample time for the commencement of the shift. And that pack up is completed at the end of the shift.During the event, use your friendly and approachable communication skills to engage community members.

Ensure areas are clean & tidy during and after the event.Model and contribute to creating a positive and caring atmosphere among both the team and for community participants attending the event.Ensure WHS policy and procedures are adhered to at all timesQualifications and skills (desired/required):Experience in engaging community members is desiredGood communication skills,



both written and verbalBackground check requirements:Background checks play an important part in our commitment to being a safe organisation.
