Front of House/ Kitchenhand A Mount Gambier Restaurant seeks a front of house/ kitchenhand. Position is Casual.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Providing prompt and attentive table service, taking orders and delivering food and beverages
- Maintaining a clean and organised front of house area
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately
- Assisting with additional tasks as required to support the kitchen and management team
- Operating POS and handling cash and card transactions
- Taking customer orders accurately and confidently
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the front counter

Skills and Abilities:





- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Confident, friendly, and well-presented
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
