About the role: To be eligible to apply for this position you must be PGY3+. This full‑time position commences 1 February 2027 for 12 months with a possible extension.

Hospital (NCH) is a 256‑bed public hospital providing acute and sub‑acute services, with an Emergency Department receiving around 55,000 presentations per year.
The Senior Resident Medical
Officer (SRMO)
is a hospital‑specific medical officer training in adult internal medicine, and Medical Assessment Planning Unit (MAPU) and ambulatory care services. The MAPU provides multidisciplinary assessment, care and treatment of acutely ill medical patients with a predicted length of stay of 48‑72 hours. We are seeking an unaccredited SRMO who is interested in pursuing a career in General Medicine and wishes to further their exposure in adult internal medicine.
The SRMO will undertake duties in the care and treatment of patients in various departments.
