About the role

We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to join progressive practices in Melbourne, VIC on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for GPs who are looking to establish themselves in a supportive practice environment or advance their career with a team that values clinical excellence and patient-centred care.

These roles offer the chance to work with a diverse patient population whilst contributing to a collaborative medical team that prioritises professional development and work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

- Providing comprehensive general practice services to patients across all age groups and presentations
- Conducting patient consultations, assessments and examinations in accordance with best practice guidelines
- Managing acute and chronic conditions, including preventative health screening and health promotion activities
- Maintaining accurate, detailed and compliant medical records and documentation
- Developing and implementing individualised patient management plans
- Collaborating with allied health professionals, specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care




- Contributing to the development and maintenance of practice policies and clinical protocols
- Engaging in professional development and continuing medical education to maintain clinical competency
- Participating in practice quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Australian Medical Board as a General Practitioner or eligibility to obtain registration
- Fellowship or eligibility for fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or equivalent recognised GP training qualification
- Demonstrated clinical competency and experience in providing comprehensive general practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients and colleagues
- A commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based clinical practice
- Proficiency with medical practice management systems and electronic health records
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- A proactive approach to professional development and clinical governance
- Preference for candidates with experience in rural or regional practice, or demonstrated willingness to work with diverse patient populations
