I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established geotechnical consultancy that is continuing to grow and is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with around 3–5 years' consulting experience to join its Sydney team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on major transport, infrastructure and land development projects while being supported by experienced senior engineers and clear career development pathways.

About the role

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll be involved in geotechnical investigations, construction phase services and project delivery across a diverse range of projects. The role is predominantly site-based, with responsibility for inspections, site supervision, technical reporting and managing your own projects as your experience grows.

About you





- Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology

- 3–5 years' experience in geotechnical consulting. Strong preference towards Sydney-gained experience.

- Solid field work skills! Experience with site investigations and/or construction phase services.

- Strong technical report writing and communication skills

- Working knowledge of Australian geotechnical standards and TfNSW specifications

- Current Australian driver's licence
