Farmanco is seeking a Grain Marketing Advisor to join our growing team, working directly with broadacre growers across Western Australia to provide specialised, tailored grain marketing and risk management advice.

This role suits someone with a strong interest in grain markets & broadacre agriculture and a desire to build & manage trusted long-term relationships with farming businesses.

Working closely with long-term clients on grain marketing decisions, you’ll help growers navigate pricing opportunities, market volatility, contract negotiation and execution.

The Role You will work directly with a portfolio of grower clients, supporting them with grain marketing strategy, pricing decisions, risk management, and market communication throughout the year.





Key responsibilities include

- Building and managing strong client relationships.
- Assisting growers with grain sales, target pricing, contracts, delivery options, cashflow requirements, and aligning grain marketing strategy with their risk appetite and business goals.
- Monitoring grain markets and communicating relevant opportunities and risks to clients.
- Contributing high-quality written and audio content to the Farmanco Marketing newsletter and podcast.
- Supporting clients through periods of market volatility and changing seasonal conditions.
- Providing support to the Marketing Team while you develop your own consulting client base.

About You To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

- 5-10 years’ experience in agribusiness, grain marketing, logistics, supply chain, banking or related agricultural industries.
- Strong interest in grain markets and broadacre agriculture.
- Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex information into transparent communication and practical advice.
- Confidence using modern software applications, including Excel and AI tools.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in agriculture, business, commerce, or economics.
